WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW RETURNS TO JOE LOUIS ARENA ON FEBRUARY 22

(DETROIT– January 5, 2016) — World Wrestling Entertainment’s Monday Night Raw will return to Joe Louis Arena just five weeks before WrestleMania 32 for a live broadcast on Monday, February 22 at 7:30 p.m.

The Monday Night Raw main event features a six man tag team including Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose versus Sheamus, Bray Wyatt and Kevin Owens. The roster will also include “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, WWE World Heavy Weight Champion Triple H, The Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, The New Day, Dudley Boyz, The Divas and more. Card is subject to change.

Olympia Entertainment advises patrons to take notice of World Wrestling Entertainment’s policies and procedures for the WWE Monday Night RAW event on Monday, February 22 at Joe Louis Arena.

Per WWE, the following items are now prohibited at all WWE events:
• Bags and briefcases
• Backpacks
• Women’s purses (small clutch 9” x 6” bags are allowed)
• Video cameras or recording devices
• Laser pointers or noise makers
• Weapons of any kind
• Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or paraphernalia
• Selfie sticks
• Laptop computers or tablets
• Coolers
• Luggage of any kind
• Camera bags
• Masks (only WWE brand masks will be permitted)

All individuals entering the facility will walk through a metal detector and be subject to a scan with a handheld wand. Any items that are allowed into the venue must be carried in either a 9” x 6” clutch or clear plastic bag (maximum size 1 gallon, Ziploc-type clear bag) and those bags will be screened.

Joe Louis Arena already prohibits items at all events, such as outside food, strollers, alcoholic beverages, cans, coolers, bottles, fireworks, and other items that may be considered dangerous or a weapon. The policy also includes any objects obstructing vision or interfering with the enjoyment of the event and will be addressed on an individual basis.
