The Clucked Up Comedy series will return for its fourth appearance to the intimate City Theatre to present Clucked Up Saturday Night "The Dirty Lowdown" starring comedians and Tom Joyner Morning Show radio personalities Huggy Lowdown and Chris Paul for two performances on Saturday, March 30 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Huggy Lowdown is highly recognized across the nation as one of the top headlining comedians on the comedy circuit. He was quickly recognized by the cable network TV ONE and chosen to supply the comedy satire for TV ONEs live coverage of the Democratic Convention and Presidential Inauguration. Today, 8 million people in over 115 markets, wake up to Huggy's number one entertainment, news, and gossip segment every morning, on The Tom Joyner Morning Show.
Chis Paul is the second man in this dynamic duo and Huggy's partner in crime. Paul has performed stand-up on Comedy Central and BET, and has shared the stage with comedy giants to include Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock, Drew Carey, and Steve Harvey. In 2006, Chris co-headlined a two-man show at the famous Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. with Dave Chappelle.
Founded by comedic writer Karl King, "Clucked Up Comedy" was inspired by an encounter King had with comedian/actor Reginald Ballard, best known for his character "Bruh Man" on the hit series Martin; starring Martin Lawrence.
