Tickets to the 2013 CCHA Championship and MSU-UM Rivalry Game are now on sale, joining December's Great Lakes Invitational (GLI) as the key events comprising Olympia Entertainment's 2012-13 'College Hockey in the D' line-up. This year's GLI is set to be staged at Comerica Park as part of the 2012 SiriusXM Hockeytown Winter Festival™ while both the MSU-UM showdown and a special 'Celebrate the Legacy' edition of the CCHA Championship will take place at Joe Louis Arena.

Michigan and Michigan State will battle one another in their annual showdown at The Joe on Saturday, February 2 (puck drop – 4:00 p.m.). Last year, the Wolverines earned a dramatic 3-2 overtime victory over the Spartans before a boisterous, sellout crowd of 20,066. The archrivals have squared off in regular season action at JLA at least once per year since 1990, with Michigan having earned 11 victories to Michigan State's nine over that time (four games ended in a tie).
